I would like to say a huge thank you to the executive, score keepers, sign in folks, volunteers for everything this summer from track prep to flagging.
This is my first real summer back racing after having to quit being part of the club and racing about 8 years ago. I have a great time this summer and realized how much I missed the AOTMX family. There are a lot of new faces and a lot no longer here from before but it is the atmosphere that is what makes it so much fun.
I know exactly how much work it is to put on a race as well as run the club and it takes a lot of personal time and commitment.
It is nice after having been so involved in the past to just show up, ride, flag a little bit sometimes and go home. For the first time in years I looked forward to riding my bike racing each time. I hope all the riders that had some bad crashes heal up well and I look forward to next year.
