Memberships & Track Passes

Join the AVMX (A.O.T.M.X) community. Choose the pass that fits your ride.

💳 2026 Fees

Pass Type Price Description
Racer Membership $50 Racing Membership Competitive riders (RaceReady registration)
Individual Track Day Pass $25 Kusters MX Park – Single-day track access
Individual Track Season Pass $150 Kusters MX Park – Solo riders hitting the track all summer
Family Track Season Pass $300 Kuster MX Park – Parents & up to 4 minor dependents 

Note for Minors: All memberships for riders under 18 must be purchased by a parent or legal guardian who accepts full responsibility.


⚖️ Eligibility & Rights

To keep our club running smoothly, we have a few specific guidelines regarding age and participation:

  • 🛡️ General Eligibility: Based on the specific pass purchased. Proof of age may be requested at any time.

  • 🗳️ Executive & Voting Rights: Limited to members 30 years of age or older. This includes voting on club matters and holding Official (Executive) positions.

  • 🤝 Privileges: Access to club racing, track days, and AVMX events in accordance with official club policies.


🏗️ Volunteer Requirements

Our club runs on horsepower and helping hands. All Race members must fulfill volunteer obligations to remain in “Good Standing.”

1. Flagging Obligations

  • The Rule: Racing does not start until the flagging board is full.

  • Minors: Parents/Guardians are responsible for the flagging duties associated with a minor’s membership.

  • Paid Flagging: Riders 14+ can earn $100/day at race series events. Note: Paid flagging does not count toward your volunteer hours.

2. Alternative Ways to Help

If you can’t flag, you can get your hours through:

  • Track Prep: Watering the dirt or rock picking.

  • Equipment: Donating machinery or tools for track maintenance.

  • Special Projects: Other contributions approved by the Executive.


⚠️ Membership Standing & Renewals

Keep your status green! To renew your membership for the 2026 season, the Executive will review your 2025 volunteer contributions.

If requirements aren’t met:

  • You may be listed as “Not in Good Standing.”

  • Membership privileges may be restricted.

  • The Executive will review your status prior to any renewal.



Race Classes

⏱️ Age Eligibility

To participate in the +30, +40, +50, +60, & +70 classes, a rider’s age is determined by the age they reach by the end of the calendar year.

Example: If you turn 30 in June, you are eligible to compete in the +30 class for that year. No exceptions.


🏆 AVMX Race Series Classes

  • +70 – Riders aged 70 and older (combined class).

  • +60 – Novice, Intermediate, Expert.

  • +50 – Novice, Intermediate, Expert.

  • +40 – Novice, Intermediate, Expert.

  • +30 – Novice, Intermediate, Expert.


🚦 U30 Classes

U30 A, B – Large wheel, full‑size bikes only (No Super Mini) | Based on age & skill level.

  • A – Exp. & Fast Int. – Riders aged 14–29.

  • B – Nov. & Int. – Riders aged 12–29.

  • Riders may be moved to another skill level if deemed necessary.


🏁 GP Classes

GP A, B – Large wheel, full‑size bikes only (No Super Mini) | Based on skill level.

  • A – Exp. & Fast Int. | Min. 14 years of age.

  • B – Int. & Novice | Min. 12 years of age.

  • GP classes are intended to provide an additional racing opportunity and may be entered alongside age‑based classes.


🚩 Vet GP Classes

Vet GP A, B (+45) – Based on skill level.

  • A – Exp. & Fast Int. | Min. 45 years of age.

  • B – Int. & Novice | Min. 45 years of age.


🏁 Ladies Classes

Ladies A & B – Skill‑based classification.

  • Ladies A – Min. 85cc.

  • Ladies B – Min. 65cc.

  • Mixed bike‑size class; riders should be mindful of newer or less experienced riders on smaller motorcycles.


🏅 Mini Classes

  • Mini GP – 65cc, 85cc & Super Mini.

    • 65cc riders should be more advanced for this class.

    • Subject to AVMX executive approval.

  • 85cc – Includes big‑wheel 85cc & CRF150R.

  • 65cc – 65cc class (50 SR – Riders 7 years of age or older allowed).

  • 50cc A & B – 50cc class.


🚥 AVMX Rider Skill Classifications

  • Novice – Beginners or slower riders within an age group.

  • Intermediate – The largest group; experienced riders with average speed.

  • Expert – The fastest riders within their age group.


🛠️ Class Structure

  • Race classes follow the Veteran rider format, dividing riders by age and skill level.

  • Bike displacement is not a factor in Age classes.

Club Rules

The following rules listed below are in addition to the guidelines above.

🔇 Quiet Time – 11:00 pm

  • Quiet Time – 11:00 pm (ie. NO – yelling, loud music, excessive partying)

🚫 Zero Tolerance

  • Zero Tolerance – Racing while under the influence is NOT allowed. Includes alcohol and drugs; during the day or the following day after partying the night before.

🩹 No Racing While Injured

  • No Racing While Injured – Puts the safety of yourself and fellow racers on the track at risk. (Will be assessed case by case basis by AVMX Executive.)

⚖️ Race Skill Level / Sandbagging

  • Race Skill Level/Sandbagging – The A.V.M.X. relies on sportsmanship and proper judgment when deciding the appropriate skill level. It is the responsibility of the rider to move up as their skill level improves.

📢 Mandatory Rider’s Meeting

  • Mandatory Rider’s MeetingALL Registered Racers must attend rider’s meetings. Names will be called at random to validate attendance.

  • Racers that are caught skipping rider’s meetings will have a penalty imposed at the discretion of the executive, which may include ineligibility to race. All rules and instructions at the rider’s meeting are to be followed.

🔐 Practice Track Code

  • Practice Track Code – Gate combination is to be kept confidential.

⛈️ Race Cancellations

  • Race Cancellations – Executive will decide race cancellations based on weather factors and/or track conditions. The decision will be made in the interest of safety. Registration may be delayed to assess factors in deciding whether to race or cancel.


💸 ZERO REFUNDS

  • ZERO REFUNDS – There will be NO REFUNDS for Race Cancellations and/or Injury. It is expected that riders are aware of weather forecasts when registering for an event.

  • Riders have the option to register for one day at a time. The club incurs costs when hosting an event, even if it is canceled that all entry fees help cover these costs (ie. insurance, porta-potty, track prep costs, ambulance, etc.).


🚫 No Pit Bikes

  • No Pit Bikes – Pit bikes are not permitted but pedal-assisted e-bikes with throttle are allowed (must have pedals). Exceptions will only be made on a case-by-executive members on a case-by-case basis.

🚫 Riding in the Pits

  • Riding in the Pits – First gear only, helmets must be worn, and no doubling. Your race bike is not a pit bike and can only be ridden in the pits when going to and from the line for racing.

Practice Track Rules

📋 Prior to Riding

It is a privilege for AVMX to have a practice track that our members are able to go out and ride at. However, within the track lease agreement, insurance and liability there are rules. Our tracks are not monitored at the gate and it is the responsibility of the AVMX Members to understand and help enforce these rules. Failure to do so can result in memberships voided or the removal of our practice tracks.


💳 Membership / Pass

(Individual Season Pass / Family Season Pass / Day Pass)

  • Available on AOTMX.ca website.

  • 2026 – Passes will be available to the public for the Westlock tracks.

  • Waiver – You (under 18 years of age your parent or guardian) must have signed a waiver form when purchasing your pass. If you are unsure if you have there are waivers located at the back of the shack for Kuster MX Park.

  • Proof of Pass – Be prepared to provide your pass email or invoice# if asked for to confirm you have a valid pass to be riding at the facility.


🚦 Track Rules

  • Obey all track rules.

  • 🚫 QuadsNO QUADS! Dirt bikes only!

  • 🔐 Practice Track Codes – The gate combination for Westlock is to be kept confidential.


🏁 General Track Rules

  • 🎫 Riders – Must have a valid Kuster MX Park Pass prior to riding.

  • 👥 No riding alone – You must have at least 1 competent person with you at all times while riding at the facility.

  • 🚫 Alcohol & Drugs – Absolutely no alcohol will be tolerated before or while riding. No drugs or illegal substances allowed at any time.

  • 🧒 Riders under the age of 18 – Must have a parent legal guardian present at all times.

  • 🪖 Protective Gear – Wear appropriate protective equipment at all times when riding.

  • 🔒 Gate – Always lock the gate behind you when entering and exiting the facility.

  • 📍 Post Rules – Obey all other rules posted at the track.


🛡️ When Track is Opened

Kusters MX Park is a private club tracks and those without memberships cannot ride, as they are not covered under the A.V.M.X. lease agreement, insurance and liability. If you see someone riding on the track and they can’t show proof of membership, please ask them to leave or contact the number posted on the track sign at the track entrance.

💻 Check Before You Ride: Before heading out to ride check the Track Website aotmx.ca/avmxtracks. This is where you can find details when the track is scheduled to be closed or open. Please take into consideration the daily weather as track closure due to weather may not always be updated.
